Terps After Rising Miami RB Burton

UMD’s staff has been handing out running back offers galore, and the latest went to a budding speedster from Miami, Fla. Roscoe Burton (North Miami), who just transferred from Doral Academy (Doral, Fla.), earned a Maryland offer April 7 from area recruiter Brian Williams.

“Maryland was big news for me,” Burton said. “I had actually just got done working out, and my head coach and Coach Williams set up a conference call.
