4-Star 2028 RB LaRue Decommits From Maryland

In a move that surprised absolutely no one, four-star 2028 running back Jerome LaRue (Central York/Harrisburg, Pa.) opted to decommit from Maryland Oct. 21. LaRue’s announcement came shorty after former UMD Coach Mike Locksley was fired, but the four-star was not expected to stick with the Terps throughout the 2028 cycle regardless of the coach’s status.

LaRue was Maryland’s first class of 2028 commitment April 9. The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder visited College Park, Md.
