St. Frances TE Bearns Joins Terps' 2021 Class

Maryland picked up its eighth commitment of the 2021 class Feb. 5, and second from powerhouse St. Frances (Baltimore, Md.) when tight end/fullback/Hi-back Joseph Bearns pledged to the hometown school. The 6-foot-2, 245-pounder earned a UMD scholarship Feb. 1 during a visit to College Park, Md., making the Terps his lone Division I option. He decided to join Maryland four days later.
