Local TE Lands First Offer From Hometown Terps, Holds UMD In High Regard

Maryland pulled a star recruit from tiny Maret School in Washington, D.C., in safety Sean Davis back in 2012, and, eight years later,  the Terps are on the trail of another prospect. Tight end Curtis Nixon, a 6-foot-5, 215-pounder, landed his very first scholarship from the hometown school Jan. 30.

“I’ve never met Sean Davis,” Nixon said, “But I’ve heard stories about him and obviously know who he is and what he did at Maryland and now in the NFL.
