In a surprise development on signing day Dec. 18, St. John’s (Washington, D.C.) five-star receiver Rakim Jarrett flipped his commitment from LSU to Maryland and signed with the Terps. Jarrett said he didn’t intend to sign until February, but changed his tune on the first day of the early signing period.

The 6-foot, 208-pound Jarrett had been committed to LSU since April and let on that he was completely on board with Ed Orgeron’s program.
