With a need for experienced, college-ready talent, the Terps have been tossing out junior-college offers right and left during the last month. Most of the new looks have gone to trenchmen, where Maryland needs the most help in 2020 and beyond.

One of UMD’s most recent offers was to Independence (Kans.) offensive guard/tackle Johari Branch. The 6-foot-3.5, 325-pound three-star earned the scholarship from position coach John Reagan Nov. 18, prompting Branch to schedule a College Park, Md.
