Terps Add Slot WR McCant To 2024 Class

Maryland picked up its second class of 2024 football commitment March 21 in Wharton (Tampa, Fla.) slot receiver/running back Terek McCant. The 5-foot-9, 175-pounder joins inside linebacker Justin Okoronkwo from Germany in UMD’s class thus far.

McCant also held offers from Arkansas, Arizona, Duke, Cincinnati, Mizzou, TAMU, Ole Miss and Kansas State, among others. Not all of those programs pressed for McCant, but Maryland was intrigued by his versatility and quickness.
