Texas CB Brown Talks Up Terps After Visit, Offer

Maryland area recruiter James Thomas has been in touch with Texas corner Brodrick Brown (Yates/Houston, Texas) since the spring, and June 17 the 5-foot-11, 165-pounder made his way to College Park, Md., for a camp visit. Afterwards, Brown showed Thomas, corners coach Henry Baker and the rest of the staff enough to warrant a scholarship offer. It was his first offer of any kind.

“I’m happy and excited for real,” Brown said.
