A third cornerback and a fifth Maryland player in the last three days entered the transfer portal May 1. Redshirt sophomore corner Devyn King announced he would be leaving College Park, Md., after failing to ascend the depth chart the last two seasons and into spring ball in 2022.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder did not appear in game action as a freshman and saw time in just three games in 2021. He totaled two tackles in the Pinstripe Bowl against Virginia Tech.
