Maryland landed the 14th pledge of its 2022 class on the day before the early signing period, Dec. 14. Three-star receiver Leon Haughton (Benedictine/Richmond, Va.) became the third wideout in the Terps’ crop and committed to UMD over Vanderbilt and Virginia.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder visited College Park, Md., multiple times, including for a game against West Virginia and an official visit on the weekend of Dec. 10.
