Terps Land Next Longterm Center In Deery

Maryland has had a wrestler manning the center position for going on a decade now, with Johnny Jordan and Brendan Moore holding down the spot the last few years. The future lies with a wrestler too as the Terps secured a 2022 commitment from Malvern Prep (Pa.) interior lineman Coltin Deery, a 6-foot-3, 280-pounder who ranks among the best on the mat nationally. Deery was sitting fourth nationally until he recently lost a match, but should vault back into the top five in short time.
