Terps Extend PWO To California Punter

Maryland has a pair of walk-on punters in Anthony Pecorella and Colton Spangler, but new special teams coordinator Ron Zook is evidently looking to bring in another to compete with the two third-year specialists. On Feb. 12, he extended a preferred walk-on opportunity to class of 2021 punter Brenden Segovia (Oaks Christian/Westlake Village, Calif.), a former UCLA commit who had to part ways with the Bruins since he had issues with the admissions process.
