July 31, 2020

Maryland has been identifying new offensive line targets, and the staff’s most recent look went out to a tackle from Erasmus Hall in Brooklyn, N.Y. Armon Bethea is a 6-6, 310-pounder with offers from Ole Miss, Arkansas, Miami, Louisville, Ga Tech, WVU and now UMD.

Head coach Mike Locksley extended the offer July 29, and Bethea is now in touch with line coach John Reagan. Reagan and Co. had been monitoring Bethea and liked the film they saw from his off-season workouts.
