Terps Have The Attention Of Cali QB

May 28, 2020

Maryland’s offensive staff has been keeping close tabs on several 2021 quarterback targets as priority Caleb Williams (Gonzaga/Washington, D.C.) is no sure thing to wing up at UMD. Offensive coordinator Scottie Montgomery has personally identified a few targets on the West Coast, with his most recent offer going out to Loyola (Los Angeles, Calif.) pro-style Brayden Zermeno.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder is one of the foremost signal callers in California. He is coming off a season where he completed more than 60 percent of his throws, threw for 1,633 yards, tossed eight touchdown passes against seven interceptions, and tallied more than 300 rushing yards.
