TE Wolff Pledges To Maryland

After Maryland tight ends coach Mike Miller trekked down to Venice High (Venice, Fla.) in late January and extended a scholarship to Wes Wolff, the 6-foot-4, 210-pounder said it was an offer that immediately grabbed his attention. Wolff had several other attractive verbals on the table, including those from Louisville, Kentucky, Iowa State, UCF, Kansas and others, but he said the chance to play in the Big Ten and potentially contribute in coach Mike Locksley’s offense hit home.
