Local S Johnson Secures Maryland Offer, Discusses Terps, Others

The Terps have identified a few new local targets this March, including one from St. Mary’s County in southern Maryland. New UMD-area recruiter Brawley Evans opted to ante up for St. Mary’s Ryken (Leonardtown, Md.) hybrid safety Will Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound three-star with several prior power-five looks.

Johnson had only procured cursory interest from the hometown Terps prior to the offer coming through March 8.
