Jersey WR Raines Takes In UMD, Lauds Terps

West Orange (N.J.) three-star receiver Jayson Raines picked up a Maryland offer from position coach Joker Phillips in January, and two months later the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder got his first look at the Terps. Raines took in College Park, Md., March 7, and said he saw enough to want to return for a second look later in the spring or summer.
