PG Smart Raves About Terps Following Offer, Official Visit

When class of 2020 combo guard Aquan Smart (Niles North/Skokie, Ill.) and his father sat down in Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon’s office Feb. 17, in the middle of an official visit to College Park, Md., the Smarts were still unsure whether or not a true scholarship was on the table. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Smart knew the Terps’ staff liked his game quite a bit.
