Rice Enters Transfer Portal

In what was an inevitable move given Maryland’s offseason additions, rising senior guard Myles Rice elected to enter the transfer portal April 20. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder from Columbia, S.C., was supposed to be UMD’s starting point guard after transferring into College Park, Md., from Indiana before the 2025-26 season, but he battled injuries and inconsistencies and never truly established himself.
