Virginia Edge Rusher Everette Excited About First Offer From Maryland

Norview (Norfolk, Va.) hybrid defensive end Donovan Everette didn’t have any firm scholarships heading into February, but that changed Feb. 6. The 6-foot-2.5, 210-pounder heard from Maryland outside linebackers coach Brawley Evans, who had evaluated Everette’s tape and opted to ante up.

“I wasn’t shocked, because this is what I’ve worked for it, but for it to actually happen, it meant a lot,” Everette said. “I was really, really excited.
