JUCO RB Evans Talks Up Terps Offer

Maryland landed a commitment from Hutchinson C.C. (Hutchinson, Kans.) corner Jakorian Bennett in 2020, and have numerous offers out to the junior college’s 2021 recruits. The most recent, from UMD assistant Brawley Evans, went to running back Tiyon Evans, a 5-foot-9, 225-pound power pack from South Carolina.

“Maryland was a great offer to get,” Evans said.
