Maryland has been attempting to make inroads at Baltimore powerhouse St. Frances, but hadn’t been able to attract the Eager Street school’s foremost talents. The Terps did secure low three-star guard Ja’khai Green in 2020, and four-star tackle Jaelyn Duncan did commit to Maryland before he transferred to SFA, but UMD had mostly missed on the elites.
