Maryland picked up its first receiver commitment of the 2026 cycle July 16 in local wideout Jayden Kitchens. The 6-foot-2.5, 190-pound three-star, who spent last year at Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Md.) before transferring to St. James (Springfield, Va.) in June, chose the Terps over Cincinnati and Virginia Tech.
“Maryland is the hometown school and they play in the Big Ten, which is a great conference,” Kitchens said.
