Terps Set To Host PG Smart, Who Could Potentially Be Cowan's Successor

The search for Anthony Cowan’s replacement has taken twists and turns during the last year, and the latest target the Terps may be honing in on is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound combo from Skokie, Ill. Three-star Aquan Smart (Niles North/Skokie, Ill.) was at one-time committed to East Tennessee State and dubbed a mid-major talent, but he’s come on during his senior year and started to generate high-major interest.
