FLA CB Russell Discusses Early Schools Of Interest, Terps

The Terps’ offer barrage at St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) continued, with cornerback Tyson Russell being the latest to pick up a Maryland verbal from Brian Williams. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound three-star head about the UMD verbal Jan. 30, shortly after Williams left the Florida powerhouse.

“I haven’t really talked to Maryland yet, but it was a cool offer,” said Russell, who had prior looks from NC State, Mizzou, Pitt, Syracuse, UVA, Minnesota and Vandy.
