Aquinas DL Daranijo Lands First P5 Offer From Terps

St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) defensive tackle Tola Daranijo had just one offer from UAB prior to late January, but that changed after Terps’ area recruiter Brian Williams trekked through the Florida powerhouse Jan. 30. Williams told Aquinas assistant Roger Harriott the Maryland staff had reviewed the 6-foot-1, 265-pound Daranijo’s film and wanted to offer him a scholarship.

“That was a pretty good feeling,” Daranijo said.
