Georgia S Green Talks Up Three Initial Looks, Including Terps

Newton (Covington, Ga.) safety Darius Green has seen his recruitment steadily rise since mid-January. As college coaches have trekked through high school, the 6-foot, 190-pounder has seemingly added a new offer every couple of days. First was hometown Georgia Tech, then Virginia came in, and, finally, Maryland came through on Jan. 30.

“Recruiting been going real well, man, going real well,” Green said. “It’s really been picking up here for me. I’ve been blessed.
