Top 5 Toughest Recruit Gets

Taking a look at the five recruits Maryland had to battle for and still was able to land:

WR Rakim Jarrett (St. John’s/Washington, D.C.)

The five-star Jarrett had been committed to LSU since April and publicly stated he was “all in” with the Tigers. The LSU staff, in turn, was confident they could keep Jarrett and sign him in February. Alabama, meanwhile, was supposedly the main competition, with Nick Saban and Co. making a potent push for Jarrett’s services.
