Terps Offer OG Perkins During Visit; Return Official Forthcoming

Offensive guard/tackle Zach Perkins (Berkeley Prep/Tampa, Fla.) had been committed to Marshall since September, but he had a falling out with the staff. Thus, the 6-foot-4, 321-pound three-star elected to reopen his recruitment in mid-November and begin exploring other options.

One of which is Maryland, which just pulled through with an offer Nov. 23.

“I had been talking to one of their coaches and they invited me up for their game against Nebraska,” Perkins said.
