Maryland assistant Dave Mencarini has handed out numerous new preferred walk-on offers this November, and perhaps the most intriguing look went to South River (Edgewater, Md.) quarterback David Foust. The 6-foot-4, 170-pounder is the leader of an undefeated team that’s putting up 48 points per game and is the No. 1 overall seed in the Class 4A state playoffs in Maryland.
