Maryland Loses CB Pledge Battle

Maryland lost a commitment Nov. 6 in cornerback Rashad Battle (Creekside/Fairburn, Ga.). The 6-foot-2, 187-pound three-star pledged to the Terps back on June 4, shortly after an official visit to College Park, Md. He cited his strong relationship with the staff (Cory Robinson and Brawley Evans led the charge), the chance to play early during his college career, and the environment on campus as the reasons he wanted to be a Terp.
