2026 Hoops Recruiting Updates

Here are some updates on the Terps’ top 2026 hoops targets:

PG Trey Beamer (IMG/Bradenton, Fla.): I  was told that if UMD Coach Buzz Williams presses for a commitment on his official visit Sept. 13, Beamer will likely commit.

PG Anthony Brown (Carroll/Washington, D.C.): If Beamer commits, say goodbye to Ant Brown. Right now, Brown is set for an OV to Maryland on Oct. 4.
