Texas SF Brown's Longstanding Relationship With Williams Prompts Commitment

Lufkin (Texas) class of 2026 small forward Austin Brown had a rapport with Buzz Williams that dated back to the recruit’s freshman year. The former Texas A&M headman Williams was one of the first high-major coaches to contact and offer Brown, and the high three-star reciprocated the interest by visiting College Station, Texas, and taking an official to TAMU in January 2025.
