Terps Land Chicago Forward Alston

Maryland Coach Buzz Williams added a fourth class of 2025 recruit and his 14th player overall May 27 in high three-star combo forward Aleks Alston (Kenwood Academy/Chicago, Ill.). The 6-foot-9.5, 205-pounder is someone Williams had on his radar for the last couple years at Texas A&M, and the headman quietly pursued him after his arrival in College Park, Md.

Alston didn’t receive a Terps’ offer right away, but after trekking to campus in mid-May, Williams and Co.
