Maryland coach Mark Turgeon and his staff are actively searching for a point guard to fill out its 2020 class, but apparently a late-blooming wing from North Carolina has their eye. Darlinstone Dubar, a 6-foot-6 three-star guard/wing who is taking a prep year at Scotland Campus Academy (Scotland, Pa.), caught the attention of UMD assistant Matt Brady with B. Maze Elite (Under Armour) during the summer, and later at open gyms at Scotland Campus. Turgeon is scheduled to see Dubar as well Sept.
