Live Scouting Report: Jayon Venerable

SEVERN, Md. – Terrapin Times was in attendance for the Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) – Spalding (Severn, Md.) game Sept. 20 in order to scout Cavaliers junior safety/corner Jayon Venerable, who is committed to Maryland. Our take on the 5-foot-10, 175-pound three-star is below:

Venerable mainly plays safety and running back for Spalding, but he’ll be a defensive back at UMD. The Terps may try him at corner, but right now he seems to fit better at safety.
