PG Young Transfers To Maryland

Maryland filled out its 2024-2025 roster with the addition of Memphis point guard transfer Jayhlon Young. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound rising senior from Dallas, Texas, is expected to fill a backup role behind starter Ja’Kobi Gillespie. Young, who was originally committed to Vermont before backing out of his pledge earlier in June, is the fifth transfer addition for the Terps this cycle and becomes the 13th and final scholarship player on the roster.
