Forward Gapare Transfers From Georgia Tech To Maryland

Maryland added a fourth player via the transfer portal April 18 in former Georgia Tech forward Tafara Gapare, who is expected to add depth to the Terps’ frontcourt. The 6-foot-9, 206-pound rising junior from New Zealand will replace Mady Traore, who elected to leave UMD earlier in April. He will likely act as a backup to presumed starters Derik Queen and Julian Reese underneath.
