Four-Star SG Palmer Chooses Terps

Maryland Coach Kevin Willard finally secured a class of 2024 recruit in Mount Zion Prep (Lanham, Md.) wing Malachi Palmer. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound four-star is from Harrisburg, Pa., and ranked among the top 120 players nationally, per 247. Palmer, who played at three different high schools and for Team Thrill (Under Armour) and later NY Rens (EYBL) on the AAU trail, accrued close to 15 high-major offers and chose the Terps over Florida State, West Virginia, Seton Hall and Oklahoma State.
