Four-Star Guard Harris-Smith Commits To Terps

Maryland added a third touted local piece to its class of 2023 recruiting class Aug. 24 in four-star combo guard DeShawn Harris Smith (Paul VI/Fairfax, Va.). The 6-foot-4, 180-pound left-hander, who plays for Team Takeover on the EYBL, chose the Terps over Villanova, Xavier, Indiana and Penn State. He also had offers from Iowa, LSU, Texas Tech, WVU, Kansas State, Rutgers, Butler and more.
