Terps Land Local Wing Kaiser

Maryland basketball and Coach Kevin Willard won a significant recruiting battle Aug. 7 and landed local four-star wing Jamie Kaiser. The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder, who recently transferred from Bishop Ireton (Burke, Va.) to powerhouse IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), chose the Terps over Indiana and Virginia. He also had offers from UCLA, which he officially visited, Miami, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Oregon, Stanford, Va Tech, Wake, WVU, and a host of others.
