Maryland secured its first class of 2023 basketball commitment June 5 in local combo guard Jahnathan Lamothe. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound high three-star out of St. Frances (Baltimore, Md.) is coming off an official visit to College Park, Md., and chose UMD over Georgetown; Penn State; and UCF.
