Transfer Green Discusses Why He's Coming To Maryland

The Terps had a 12th scholarship available and Coach Mark Turgeon chose to use that on a sixth-year graduate transfer from Old Dominion. Wing Xavier Green, a 6-foot-6, 175-pounder from Williamsburg, Va., chose to head north to College Park, Md., July 30.

“So I wanted to go pro after last year at ODU, but I didn’t think I had a good year and didn’t really display what I really had in my arsenal,” Green said.
