Lewis Decommits From Maryland

High three-star point guard Paul Lewis (Bishop O’Connell/Arlington, Va.) confirmed that he has decommitted from Maryland. The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder pledged to the hometown Terps back on Sept. 27, 2020, but nine months later the 2022 lead guard has backed off. Maryland has been actively searching for another ’22 point guard, and it’s possible the two sides opted to mutually part ways.

“Maryland is my dream school,” Lewis said when he originally committed.
