PG Copeland Has Several Schools Pushing In Earnest

Maryland has a class of 2022 point guard in Paul Lewis (O’Connell/Arlington, Va.), but Coach Mark Turgeon and Co. have made it clear they’d like to add a second ball-handler. The staff has extended numerous offers to true points and combos, and it appears one of their top priorities is Quadir Copeland (IMG/Bradenton, Fla.) The 6-foot-6, 175-pound three-star from Gettysburg, Pa.
