Coach Speak: Kyle Schmitt On Kellan Wyatt

Maryland secured a commitment from 2022 outside linebacker Kellan Wyatt (Spalding/Severn, Md.) Sept. 27, and afterwards we spoke to his coach, Kyle Schmitt, to gain more insight into the 6-foot-2, 220-pound three-star:

Terrapin Times: Coach, I know it’s kind of a weird time with recruiting, but this commitment wasn’t one we were expecting so soon. Kellan I know was just sort of getting started on the recruiting trail, and then out of nowhere he’s committing.
