Maryland has been on the lookout for a 2022 big man, and a new target emerged June 2. Terps’ assistant Matt Brady anted up for French center Christ Essandoko, a 6-foot-11, 265-pounder currently prepping at Winston Salem Christian School in Winston Salem, N.C.

Maryland has a class of 2022 point guard in Paul Lewis (O’Connell/Arlington, Va.), but Coach Mark Turgeon and Co. have made it clear they’d like to add a second ball-handler
