Maryland Adds Fairfield To Its Schedule

Maryland has added another non-conference game to its 2019 schedule, per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein. The Terps will take on Fairfield, which competes in the MAAC and is coming off a 9-22 season, in the Advocare Invitational Tournament Nov. 19. It will be Maryland’s season-opening game.

Eighth-year coach Stanley Johnson was fired following last year’s campaign, and the Stags hired Rutgers assistant Jay Young to take over the program.
