What To Watch For As Maryland Opens Its Exhibition Season

Maryland basketball’s 2026-27 season begins Nov. 2 against Bucknell, but before that game, the Terps have a pair of October exhibitions against Georgia Tech and West Virginia. The first matchup, against the Yellow Jackets, is Oct. 11 at 4:30 p.m. in Baltimore. Here are some initial areas to watch when UMD takes on Tech.

The final score isn’t really relevant here; the main thing to watch is how quickly Coach Buzz Williams can get a heavily revamped roster playing together.
