Terps Humming Along In Big Ten, Looking To Continue Building In Columbus

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Mark Turgeon saw his point guard, Anthony Cowan, begin to emerge as a true floor general towards the end of last season, but the Terps’ headman admitted he didn’t think sophomore forward Jalen Smith would develop into a double-double machine producing at an All-American level, nor did the coach believe junior wing/forward Darryl Morsell would become a consistent presence on both ends of the floor.
